Grazie all’iniziativa “Un nuovo socio un nuovo albero” di Coop Alleanza 3.0 inizia un nuovo intervento di forestazione nel Parco Naturale di Cervia

 
E’ iniziato il progetto di forestazione nel Comune di Cervia e che prevede la piantumazione di 1.240 giovani alberi, grazie all’iniziativa “Un nuovo socio un nuovo albero” che Coop Alleanza 3.0 ha realizzato con la collaborazione di Legambiente e AzzeroCO2. Dal 1° ottobre al 30 novembre 2019 infatti, per ogni giovane nuovo socio tra i 18 e i 25 anni la Cooperativa si è impegnata a piantare un nuovo albero: a Cervia il primo dei tre interventi previsti, che permetteranno di piantumare complessivamente oltre 3.200 alberi. Un’altra azienda che ha integrato la sostenibilità nella propria strategia aziendale promuovendo attività per tutelare l’ambiente e generare valore sul territorio.
L’intervento di piantumazione ha interessato 4 aree tra loro contigue all’interno del Parco Naturale di Cervia, che il 10 luglio 2019 è stato oggetto di una tromba d’aria che ha distrutto buona parte della Pineta per schianti e ribaltamenti. Il Parco Naturale di Cervia è un sito molto rilevante a livello ambientale e naturale, è costituito da una pineta di circa 27 ettari, si estende fino a Milano Marittima e rientra all’interno di un SIC (Sito di Importanza Comunitaria).
Le specie arboree scelte per l’intervento di forestazione sono tutte autoctone, coerenti con le condizioni climatiche e naturalistiche dell’area. L’obiettivo, con il tempo, è di ricostituire la pineta e la macchia mediterranea e renderla nuovamente fruibile a residenti e turisti.
